Located in historic Ladner Village, 2008 marks the 12th year of operation of the Ladner Village Market. This three block long open-air market runs rain or shine and has over 140 vendors from all over the southern province. As the vendors vary each Sunday the market is never the same twice! Shop 'til you drop as you peruse the fresh produce; plants and garden accessories; hand-made jewellery; soaps; crafts, and so many more original creations.
Music date change
August 24 and September 7
We've swapped dates for Mojo Zydeco with Kal Mollison and the John Gilliat Trio. Mojo Zydeco will now be performing on August 24th and Kal Mollison will perform the morning of September 7th. John Gilliat Trio will also be performing on afternoon of September 7th

June 08 - Our First Market for 2008
A raving success, despite the cool air.
It was a little cool today (a high of 14 degrees), but it didn't seem to keep any of you away. We had a fantastic turnout with some of our vendors sold out before noon. The baked goods were delicious (especially the cinnamon buns) with a nice warm espresso. Lineups for the cooked food were starting as early as 11am, but there wasn't much more than a 5 minute wait even at the peak. I ate a fabulous bison burger from La Belle Auberge, I'd hoped for one of the lamb burgers but they were already sold out by 1pm. The stores that line the market street were bustling with people and deals all day. I didn't have a chance to get out and listen to the music while I was there today but I hear it was great. Thanks to all the volunteers and organizers for making the first market such a great event, I'm sure the next one will be just as fabulous on June 22nd. Come and see our tribute to the Fraser river's 150th anniversary, a moonlight market on September 27th 2008 from 5pm to 10pm. We've lit up the street and brought back an encore performance from our favourite vendors and entertainers for one night only.
